Installationsvoraussetzungen auf dem Windows Client

Erst-Installation und Aktualisierung auf IBM i

Für die Installation auf der IBM i muss zuerst der Download angefordert werden: siehe Abschnitt "Aktuelle Version" oben. Sie erhalten ein E-Mail mit einem link zum Download der Installations-EXE-Datei.

Mit der dann heruntergeladenen Installations-EXE-Datei wird der IBM i - Teil der Software mit dem

For the installation on IBM i you have to request the download first: see section "Current version" above. You will receive an e-mail with a link to download the installation EXE file.

With the then downloaded installation EXE file the IBM i - part of the software with the Toolmaker PC-Installer für IBM i - Softwareprodukte und HOTFIXes installiert installed.

Die Version 3 auf der on the IBM i ist mit alten directword Clients der Version 2 am PC nicht verträglich! ALLE alten Clients müssen zuerst durch die neue Client-Version ersetzt werden, erst danach darf die Version 3 auf der IBM i installiert werdenis not compatible with old directword clients of version 2 on the PC! Uninstalling Windows Client
